Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to local residential and commercial destinations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with the company's customer service standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and clean.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions or complaints with a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent non-CDL commercial endorsement is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or logistics environment preferred.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Physical) is required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
