Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class B delivery van or box truck to transport goods to residential and commercial destinations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy and obtain electronic or written signatures from customers.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and delivery records throughout the shift.
- Provide excellent customer service by presenting a professional image and communicating effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B Preferred) or a clean driving record with a valid Class C license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to read a map and navigate unfamiliar routes efficiently.
