Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Kansas City metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries promptly
- Assist with warehouse operations including sorting, scanning, and loading packages
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City metro streets and navigation systems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Professional communication skills and positive customer service attitude
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking and communication apps
- Must pass background check and drug screening
