Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods to various commercial and residential locations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any delivery issues promptly.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Log Keeping: Accurately complete logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load Management: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL: Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) required.
- Clean Record: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major violations.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in local or regional driving preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
