Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely handle packages of varying sizes and weights, ensuring accuracy during loading.
- Route Navigation: Use GPS and route planning tools to ensure timely deliveries.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver a friendly and professional service experience to every customer.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and times for payroll and inventory purposes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Technology: Basic proficiency with smartphones and tablets for navigation and scanning.
