Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles to transport goods to local commercial and residential customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and other provided equipment.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery issues with diplomacy.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery times, mileage, and inventory counts.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow a route efficiently.
- Reliable transportation to and from the company depot.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging deliveries.
