Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to residential and commercial clients.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, damage, or cleanliness before and after routes.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and paperwork.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not always required for local routes.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and punctuality.
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
