Job Summary
As a Local Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to our clients. You will serve as the face of our company, ensuring every customer receives a professional and courteous experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses within Fresno and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload packages accurately, ensuring items are not damaged during transit.
- Follow established delivery routes and time schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Update delivery status using handheld devices or software applications.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for making change and handling cash.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for daily use (if required).
