Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van or box truck to transport goods to residential and commercial locations within the Fresno area.
- Load and unload merchandise using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Verify and scan packages for accuracy before and after delivery.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Complete all daily logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Resolve delivery issues and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or valid State Driver's License.
- Current DOT medical card (if driving commercial vehicles).
- Achieved clean driving record with no recent DUIs or major moving violations.
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate new routes efficiently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
