Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles on assigned routes throughout Austin, TX.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are properly secured and protected during transport.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients and resolving on-site delivery issues.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of local Austin, TX geography and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
