Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods on time within designated Indianapolis routes
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including unloading assistance and order verification
- Maintain accurate delivery records and digital tracking systems for real-time route updates
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks to ensure operational safety
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and communicate delays proactively
- Represent the company professionally through appearance, communication, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with knowledge of Indianapolis area
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with customers
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and occasional overtime
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
