Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring heavy items are handled with proper lifting techniques.
- Interact professionally with customers, verifying delivery details and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately to management.
- Organize delivery routes efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize fuel consumption.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic computer proficiency for scanning packages and managing delivery logs.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
