Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to residential and commercial locations within San Jose
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our proprietary mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve any delivery concerns
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize fuel efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust schedules based on real-time conditions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of San Jose streets and surrounding areas
- Smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and friendly communication style
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
