Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and retail goods to customers within designated Madison routes
- Optimize daily delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize fuel efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers via mobile app
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and navigation skills (familiarity with Madison area preferred)
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for communication and route tracking
- Pass background check and drug screening (required for immediate hire)
- Excellent customer service attitude and problem-solving abilities
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
