Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Driving: Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver packages and goods to customers in a courteous, timely, and friendly manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and mechanically sound.
- Load Handling: Safely load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle condition reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license (Class C or Commercial Class B) is required.
- Driving Record: A clean driving record with no recent major violations is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
