Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Houston city limits
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when requiredPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle damage immediately
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Houston metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for route communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
