Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods within Fort Worth metropolitan area
- Efficiently plan and optimize daily delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure safe operating conditions and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally
- Load/unload packages securely following safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery management software
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
