Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain safe driving practices and DOT compliance standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Document delivery paperwork and maintain accurate logs
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and fuel savings
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Strong knowledge of Riverside/Inland Empire geography
- Basic mechanical aptitude for routine vehicle checks
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
