Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport goods to local destinations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation tools to meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload packages with attention to detail and proper handling procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and punctuality
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Portland metro area streets
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
