Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on local routes.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate lifting equipment and techniques.
- Verify delivery orders and obtain signatures upon successful delivery.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily deliveries and mileage.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state license.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
- Reliable availability for scheduled shifts, including weekends if required.
- Basic understanding of navigation systems and GPS technology.
