Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Transport: Operate the provided commercial vehicle to deliver goods to customers within the Los Angeles area promptly.
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload freight, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS navigation to plan the most efficient routes and manage delivery schedules.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and handle delivery documentation.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- CDL License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Equipment Provided: No need to own a truck; the company provides the vehicle.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in English.
- Availability: Reliable availability for full-time work, including potential weekends or early mornings.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of smartphone apps for navigation and digital signatures.
