Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial destinations across Charlotte
- Operate company-provided vehicles (vans, box trucks) with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS technology
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must reside within 30 miles of Charlotte
