Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport freight to designated delivery points.
- Secure cargo using straps and bars to ensure 100% safety during transit.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to report any maintenance needs.
- Handle loading and unloading of goods with care and efficiency.
- Maintain professional interactions with customers and clients at each stop.
- Keep accurate delivery logs and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a commercial or box truck environment.
- Must own and maintain a reliable Class 8 box truck.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lbs independently.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
