Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading processes
- Deliver freight on time while adhering to delivery schedules
- Represent Mountain Express Logistics with professionalism at all customer sites
- Complete required paperwork and documentation for each shipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights/weekends
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
