Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided vehicles for local deliveries
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
- Follow optimized routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain delivery logs and update tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service at each delivery point
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route apps
- Reliable transportation to/from depot
- No CDL required – equipment provided
