Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided delivery vehicles to transport packages safely and efficiently across Atlanta metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures using provided equipment
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) or clean Class C license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of local delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate delivery equipment
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metropolitan area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-mandated)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality essential
