Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and retail goods to residential and commercial addresses within El Paso city limits
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions at every delivery point
- Assist with warehouse operations including sorting, loading, and unloading shipments as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during all delivery operations
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of El Paso streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for route navigation and communication
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as required
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking systems
