Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to designated routes within the Boston metro area.
- Load and unload packages accurately, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery details with customers and obtain electronic signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, adhering to all company and DOT safety standards.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies immediately via the remote dispatch portal.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a clean, valid state driver's license.
- Achieve and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency with mobile technology, including tablet usage for delivery management apps.
- Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and delivery routes efficiently.
