Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of goods using your owned box truck
- Route optimization to meet delivery windows and minimize fuel costs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time adjustments
- Handle basic cargo securing and unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable personal box truck (2010+ model preferred)
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
