Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to residential and commercial addresses throughout Reno
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Handle fragile items with care and follow all safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time-management skills and punctuality commitment
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable transportation to/from depot location
