Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods within Sacramento county
- Verify delivery details and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide outstanding customer service during interactions with recipients
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel usage
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles for safety and cleanliness
- Assist with loading/unloading packages using proper techniques
- Communicate delivery status and resolve delivery issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area streets and neighborhoods
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening
