Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Fort Wayne metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time tracking updates via mobile app
- Load/unload packages with care, ensuring secure transit and proper handling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and route communications
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency while adhering to scheduled time windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable transportation to Fort Wayne hub location
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
