Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any discrepancies immediately
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Plano area streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
