Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages, documents, and perishable goods
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures/confirmations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any issues or delays
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds
- Strong knowledge of Reno-Sparks metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
