Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to local addresses within Wichita and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve issues professionally
- Load/unload packages safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and challenges
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Must reside within 30 miles of Wichita, KS
