Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within Durham and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof of delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective service
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Durham area streets and landmarks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with mobile delivery tracking applications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
