Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations within Lincoln metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address client inquiries professionally
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and ensure proper handling of all items
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience with commercial or delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Lincoln area streets and GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts
- Professional appearance and outstanding communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
