Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Atlanta's metropolitan area efficiently
- Load/unload packages with attention to detail and proper handling protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro area and GPS navigation proficiency
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and inventory tasks
- Professional communication style and customer service aptitude
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
