Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or supplies to local addresses within Lubbock city limits
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for accountability
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with recipients
- Operate company-provided vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of Lubbock streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable transportation to/from depot for shift start
- Pass background check and drug screening
