Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Virginia Beach area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure zero accidents.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and handling complaints with a positive attitude.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Accurately log mileage, delivery attempts, and times in the company's digital tracking system.
- Collect payments and secure signatures for COD deliveries when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable using smartphone applications for navigation and delivery confirmation.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
