Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages efficiently to residential and commercial addresses within Raleigh and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all packages are handled with care and delivered within the promised time window.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle at all times.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and delivery management software for accurate tracking.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo, including lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local facility.
