Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
- Ensure all deliveries are made within the promised time windows.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Collect payment and obtain signatures for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive and professional attitude.
- Accurately record delivery statuses and updates in the dispatch system.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze) and smartphones.
- Strong communication skills and punctuality are mandatory.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
