Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in all weather conditions throughout the Austin metropolitan area.
- Provide outstanding customer service by adhering to a professional dress code and maintaining a courteous demeanor.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of packages to residential and commercial locations.
- Inspect vehicles for damage before and after routes, reporting maintenance needs immediately.
- Manage and organize delivery paperwork, including proof of delivery (POD) and invoices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the vehicle and at the distribution center.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate traffic and meet strict deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld delivery devices and logging hours.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
