Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport cargo to designated locations efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any issues.
- Load and unload freight using manual or powered equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of driving hours in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A License.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate commerce.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination (medical card required).
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Previous driving experience is a plus, but we offer training for qualified candidates.
