Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks for local regional routes within the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Deliver freight on time while providing exceptional customer service at every stop.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic delays, route changes, and delivery schedules.
- Keep the truck clean and organized, ensuring a professional image at all times.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid DOT physical.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of Dallas, TX geography and local traffic patterns.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings or late nights.
