Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks within a local delivery zone in Louisville, KY.
- Load and unload freight accurately using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a clean safety record.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at each stop.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
