Responsibilities
- Architect the Future: Define and implement the core system architecture for the 2026 Horizon Initiative, focusing on microservices, cloud scalability, and AI integration.
- Roadmap Leadership: Translate business goals into technical strategies, creating a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with our 2026 vision.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, conducting code reviews, architecture reviews, and ensuring best practices are followed.
- Innovation & R&D: Spearhead research into emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum Readiness, Edge Computing) to prepare our infrastructure for future demands.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business requirements.
- Disaster Recovery: Design robust disaster recovery and high-availability solutions to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering or systems architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and orchestration.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript).
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think long-term and architect systems that are scalable, maintainable, and future-proof.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
