Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum circuit topologies for next-generation processors.
- Develop and optimize error correction codes to improve qubit coherence times.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to align software algorithms with physical hardware constraints.
- Lead technical architecture reviews and mentor a team of junior quantum developers.
- Implement and deploy quantum algorithms using cloud-based quantum processors.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum mechanics and computational theory.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubits, ion traps, or photonic quantum computing.
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, Google Cirq).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
