Responsibilities
- Architect Neural Protocols: Design and implement the core protocols for high-bandwidth neural data transmission and reception.
- Lead Engineering Teams: Mentor and guide a cross-functional team of neuroscientists, software engineers, and data scientists.
- Optimize Latency: Drive initiatives to reduce neural processing latency to sub-millisecond levels for real-time feedback loops.
- Security & Ethics: Establish robust security frameworks to protect neural data and ensure ethical deployment of bio-hacking technologies.
- R&D Leadership: Identify emerging trends in 2026 computing paradigms and integrate them into the Nexus Core product roadmap.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical neural architecture into clear, compelling narratives for investors and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on AI/BCI.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in leading technical teams or architectural roles.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, C++, and Rust, with experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch for neural network modeling.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of signal processing, machine learning algorithms, and bio-electric signal analysis.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, unsolved problems in real-time systems and high-concurrency environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
