Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) across designated routes in CA and TX
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with CA/TX highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- No DUIs or major moving violations in past 3 years
